Broadly, I study the relationship between technological change and inequality. At present, my research focuses on explaining in differences in adolescents' ability to learn new technologies (what I call their "digital adaptability"), including STEM experiences in middle and high school. I also look at the consequences of differences in digital adaptability for educational, occupational, and health care outcomes.
